It's been a really long day today and being on the plane seems to have made 2 days merge together. The plane ride was actually alright, polite people next to me and no crying babies. I killed the time with "This means War", "The Vow", and sleep. It's so hard to fall asleep on planes cause I can't find a comfy spot >_<.
I'm so grateful that Erik came to pick me up. I realized it's really difficult to get a grasp of everything when I can't read or speak Korean yet. Yonsei University is huge!! We walked a lot and once we got to campus, we had to walk from the South Gate to the East Gate. Part of it was uphill too. I sort of made a bad decision in bringing 2 suitcases cause Erik had to help me lug it around. One was mostly empty until I put my backpack in it so I can bring more stuff back especially clothes for my siblings.
My room is meh. It's tiny and I have a roommate from Berkeley. She's pretty nice so far but she doesn't really seem to want to be here. I think what sucks the most is the linen is "prison sheets" as Candice, my roommate calls them. But I'll just deal with it or buy new ones later.
I hope I get orientated soon and I need to speed study Korean. I'm afraid of getting lost >_<. Candice has been talking to her boyfriend and she keeps saying she's homesick. It's making me miss Chris already :(. But I'm meeting Yvonne from SJSU and some of her friends tomorrow at Paris Baguette for breakfast so hopefully I will meet some more people to help me get used to things here. I better get some rest and set my internal clock to Korean time. Good night! :)
