Anyways, random observation about how the lumber industry is connected to our economy: price of lumber is going down even though it's summer = growth in economy is yet to be truly seen.
Another side note, seems like a lot of foreign investors, mainly Chinese, are coming over to buy houses in cash. I'm guessing now is the time to buy and wait for the market to go back up.
It looks like tough times are still ahead of us yet there seems to lack definite solutions. I don't understand the government's approach, then again, there's so much politics involved that nothing gets done. As usual, people are afraid or refuse to change. If things were to truly get better, things have to change from the bottom up. More people need to fight or work with grassroot efforts to make our nation a better place. I think the most important factor is fixing our education system. Many grassroot movements are started by the younger generation and if we don't educate them, they might just become futile efforts.
